Regarding thickness, the Heavy Duty Leather Sewing Machines's ability to sew materials up to 9mm thick is impressive, but don't overload it constantly. Sewing beyond the maximum thickness for extended periods of time will put stress on the needle bar and motor. Proper use will extend the machine's lifespan.
When sewing different leathers, be sure to use the correct needle size for each thread. Use a large needle for thicker threads and a small needle for finer threads.
We've added a registration pedal to ensure more accurate sewing. Always use it when sew seams. Press it once to align the seams before starting to sew, minimizing errors.
Adjusting the presser foot: When sewing thin or thick leather, remember to adjust the bottom dead center height. This ensures firm pressure on the material and prevents skipped stitches without damaging the leather.
Regarding daily maintenance, the machine uses a direct-drive motor and is very durable, but regular cleaning and maintenance are essential, primarily to remove thread scraps and dust.
Remember to update the machine's operating system and pattern data promptly via USB or Wi-Fi when new features (such as new functions or patterns) are released.
